WHO
Hi, I’m Alexander W. Bell, a software engineer passionate about building innovative and creative solutions to modern problems.
WHAT
This is a social media app that uses mobile phone location data from places like google and apple to tell you how busy places are and how busy they’re going to be. It is essentially finished apart from a small amount of styling and minor bug fixes.
You’ll notice in the bottom left is a map icon that will take you to a map and if you have your location on or you are logged in, it will pull up a heatmap of your area. Currently there are only a few test locations in Miami as I have not added many locations. This app has just about every standard feature that a social media app has. These features include but are not limited to: Content sharing, live messaging, video and voice calling, groups, streaming, stream chats, location tagging, Ai content moderation, email and push notifications, likes, comments, friends, followers, stories, post privacy levels etc… Most of it is custom or free and open source commercial off the shelf products that were then edited.
